In other news, the new LP by the Shitty Limits, Beware the Limits, is out in Europe on LP on La Vida Es Un Mus Records and on CD on Boss Tuneage Records. The CD will be out in the US on Wallride Records pretty soon. The LP on Sorry State arrived just before we left for tour. Ebullition will get a VERY limited number of copies, so if you see it in your local record store or distro snap it up, because until September your only other chance to get the record will be the import versions or to see the band on tour.
Double Negative, after many delays, insist they are going to record their 2nd LP,Chinese Democracy (I'm sorry, Daydream Nation) this summer for a fall release. They are also tentatively planning a tour of the west coast with Annihilation Time in November.
The mighty Instängd may be recording a new EP soon for release on Sorry State. I get to see them live this summer! SO STOKED!
In addition to their latest EP on Sorry State (European press on Adult Crash), Smart Cops will also be releasing a 1-sided gig-only EP on Hell Yeah! Records. I helped the band get this record pressed, and let me tell you it is something special. I'm sure it'll be expensive (only 300 pressed, and it has a screen-printed b-side), but trust me when I say you WILL want this record.
I've got some other projects in the distant planning stages and hopefully DEVOUR will be recording again in the fall, but that pretty much sums up Sorry State's plans for the time being. Have a great summer and see you on tour!!!
